About Australian Energy Week 2017

OUR STORY

After delivering a range of smaller, geographical and topic specific events for the power and gas (energy) utilities sector over the years, the Quest Events energy team identified that there simply wasn't one single event that addressed all of the big issues in the Australian energy utilities sector. And subsequent market research revealed that the sector wanted an annual event they could call their own - where all stakeholders in the sector could come together, all at the same time, to network and discuss the key issues affecting the whole industry, no matter which part of the value chain they were from.

So we set about rolling a number of our existing events into one and Australian Energy Week was born. An event like no other in the country - the annual meeting place for anyone with a stake in the power and gas (energy) utilities sector.

WHAT IS AUSTRALIAN ENERGY WEEK?

Australia’s energy industry is undergoing a significant transformation as the sector decarbonises, decentralises and digitalises, and as consumers become increasingly engaged and active. For energy industry stakeholders, this is a time of significant challenge and opportunity that requires greater collaboration between industry, regulators, policy makers, suppliers and end-users.

The highly anticipated inaugural Australian Energy Week took place in June 2016, drawing together over 400 delegates, high level speakers and valued partners for a wide range of sessions, panels, networking opportunities and ultimately, a comprehensive learning experience. Attendees came from every part of the energy value chain, creating an unparalleled opportunity for all stakeholders to address the issues at hand and collaborate.

With hugely positive feedback (100% overall satisfaction based on our feedback forms) and an ever changing energy landscape, the 2017 event is set build on the success of 2016 with more networking opportunities, new content streams and greater industry representation and involvement.

The dates are set for 2017! Join us from 20-23 June 2017 in Melbourne for Australian Energy Week - an opportunity to come together in one place to meet, learn and grow.
